<p>Attorney General William Barr <strong><a href="https://apnews.com/75e5c4efd5c74e6e9aa1ba0237a0e651" target="_blank" rel="noopener">appointed</a></strong> a U.S. attorney in Connecticut, John Durham.</p>
<p>The appointment follows a hearing before Congress where Barr said that he believes "spying did occur" on Trump's campaign in 2016.</p>

<p>This is a continuation of a theory that Republicans have established in order to paint the investigation on Trump in a negative way.</p>
