Electronic Music Legend Bill Leeb Finally Debuts First Solo Album In 39 Years

My Time Spent With Bill Leeb's Music

Bill Leeb is a well-known composer of the electronic music scene, sometimes experimental but often made for the dance floor. I'm mostly familiair with his work as a former member of Skinny Puppy, first two albums in fact. The cult of Dwayne Goettel swears that Skinny Puppy hasn't been the real thing since his death, but who is preserving the Skinny Puppy when Leeb was there?

It doesn't matter because he would immediately start one of the most influential electro-industrial bands with Front Line Assembly. I might have listened to more FLA than Skinny Puppy since the '90s, easily since there are so many more releases, with their last one, Mechanical Soul, as recent as 2021.  Now, with too many projects to count outside of that, decades later, he decides to debut his own solo album, Model Kollapse.

Listen To "Model Kollapse"

In just one listen, I already enjoy this album and know it's going to end up on a infinite loop. Bill Leeb comes from the electro-industrial bands I grew up on. This album drives that energy I've missed in a lot of the electronic dance music I've heard lately. Makes me wonder if these tracks are already blasting at my local goth club. Do oyou like EBM? Specifically this genre of electronic music?
