Before we get penetrate this premise, let's check out this trailer for Porno.

People who work in movie theatres have always come across as elitists of sorts.

I already see these kids slicing out sex scenes from the reel like in the old days.

Like many who are seeing this for the first time, we're lost as to what this movie is about and the trailer doesn't help.

That doesn't matter however, when you have a killer soundtrack to firmly wrap your earholes around.

HIGHLIGHTS

When you hear this, it's quite clear that Carla has this horror thing down!

Once again, we can credit John Carpenter (asshole to Rob Zombie) for the inspiration. 

And then she goes out even father with "Did You Hear That?" which has a Blade Runner element to it!

We always consider that every note heard is never filler. 

Were we composers, we would certainly risk putting a musically half-baked idea out there just to watch the orchestra do it if we were pushed to that point somehow. 

Even the chance that as composers, we were so drug-fucked that we would put ourselves into that situation.

Thankfully, we're not blessed with that kind of success!

What we're saying is that we've listened, and understand the variations on a theme that a composer will play with.

Being that at the time of this writing, we've yet to see the movie, we don't know what imagery she was playing with to compose this score (maybe it's the color tones or certainly the horrors displayed) but, just when you would expect for an artist to get stretched thin, there's always something new around the corner.

Patullo has an even balance of atmospheric melody and soundcapes here which seems evenly dispersed, which, as wrong as we might be, we're so pulled into this world that it gets us more excited to see the film.
