It's not just the holidays when I watch this.
The movie's original release was in July of '88, which adds some weight for the side who argue that this is not a Christmas movie.
This movie has Christmas themes running through it.
The fact that this takes place during a year-end Christmas party, to celebrate the company's success, and it's also giving McClane free time to see his kids; I mean, there are "ho-ho-ho's" and Christmas wrapping tape used in a scene!
I mean, the fucking setup starts with Run DMC's "Christmas in Hollis", why else would they play that if it wasn't a Christmas movie, you fucks!
Also, it's one of the best, and it never gets old after watching it year after year.
This is one of the reasons I wanted to start this movie podcast in the first place!
We encourage you to get a hard copy of this movie since it'll last you longer but, if you must rent/stream it, then do it through us! (As an Amazon associate, we earn from qualified purchases!)
