At a Donald Trump rally in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, on Friday night, the former president unleashed one of his signature tirades, this time targeting the mainstream media. His chief complaint? CNN's interview with Kamala Harris and Tim Walz pulled in more viewers than Fox News, MSNBC, and even his own joint interview with JD Vance on the same network. Not exactly the ratings victory Trump loves to brag about.

Right in the middle of Trump’s latest rant, a pro-Trump supporter decided to kick things up a notch by storming into the press area, clearly aiming to attack journalists. But the attempt fizzled out fast—CBS security took him down, with the Secret Service, local law enforcement, and venue security quickly piling in to handle the situation.

Although all signs pointed to the attacker being a MAGA supporter, Trump campaign senior advisor Danielle Alvarez didn’t waste any time spinning the story. She suggested the individual was actually an anti-Trump protester.

"Witnesses, including some in the press corps, described a crazed individual shouting expletives at President Trump, with his aggression focused on the stage and the president," Alvarez said, doing her best to shift the narrative.

This isn’t exactly new for the Trump campaign. After the January 6 Capitol riot, they tried the same play, claiming it was Antifa, not Trump supporters, behind the violence. Alvarez’s version of events rings just as hollow. The Trump team loves to bash law enforcement when it suits them but heaps praise when the story fits their needs. Naturally, she ended her statement by thanking local police and the Secret Service for their swift action.

A CBS reporter who captured video of the incident tweeted that it was "another security lapse at a Trump rally," pointing to a growing list of failures. Previously, someone had attempted to assassinate Trump, and another incident involved a Secret Service agent who was criticized for breastfeeding during a rally.

These repeated security issues at Trump events highlight a deeper problem: these rallies often attract individuals with dangerous, even treasonous, motives. Some fear that Trump supporters are gearing up for a civil war, a concept Trump has hinted at if he loses the 2024 election.

Meanwhile, TikTok user @speakthetruth101 has raised alarms about the locations of recent Trump rallies, suggesting they represent more than just security failures—they could pose serious national security threats.

With less than three months until election day, these concerns are only growing, as fears of violence and intimidation tactics intensify.

As always, Trump thrives in chaos. The question now is whether his strategy of creating confusion and division will help him win a second term or ultimately lead to his downfall in the 2024 election. Either way, expect the drama to continue.

There’s a serious threat in our nation during this election cycle. Among them is Doug Mastriano a right-wing candidate for Governor of Pennsylvania.

Were it not for the momentum that Trump created to overturn the 2020 election, there could be very little hope for his MAGAts to build support for their campaigns for down-ballot positions that would guarantee them direct access to the electoral…
