Initial Impressions of Outrun Synthwave "Crimes Streets" Single
In their first release this year, Hoffman Cruise tackle outrun synthwave with "Crime Streets". The duo is made up of Arthur Brukh and Phil Podolny (Rocket Jump Recordings), a duo that travels through parallel worlds. In their latest offering, they're either blending into those streets and living the life or they're mere observers. Are they allowed to interfere? They've been "traveling" since 2018 and from the energy of this track, they've interfered but with a positive outcome? Doesn't sound like things have gone awry. The outrun style keyboards, that intense beat, the mean-ass bass makes this track action packed. I would guess because of the abrupt ending, they've escaped just in time before something went horribly awry. Or, did something go awry but they escaped with dire consequences?
