One EP and four LPs in, Wine Lips bring it with their latest Super Mega Ultra which is as descriptive a title as any to what this album is. The Toronto-based four-piece band has had rapid success since they formed in 2015. As soon as you kick on SMU, you'll hear why.
This album wastes no time with punk rock energy, this 12-track album is just a little over 30 minutes and you'll wonder where the time went when you come out the other end. The arrangements are tight, the guitars are ablaze and the sonics are fulfilling. Think the Hives, Jello Biafra, or just more than a good time listening experience, this album slays!
There are too many great tracks to name here but to name those I'm listening to as of this writing, "Killjoy", "Fried IV", and "New Jazz". I'm telling you, I've already spun this thing several times from beginning to end!
